The day has finally arrived…here’s your sign! The new signage for Waterbrook Bible Fellowship is being installed today. It’s an exciting day around here! We moved into the new building on the last Sunday of January, and here the sign is being installed at the building on the last Sunday of July. Who knew the process would take so long?
Actually, the reason for the long wait was two-fold. First, we had to wade through the design process and consulting and tweaking and looking at it again. Maybe I’ll tell you in a future post all the nuances gone through to get it to this stage. But, secondly, it was also about the money. The leadership team has been careful to be good stewards of our resources, so we didn’t order the sign until we knew we had the money available to pay for it. So, it was a wait, but well worth it.
There are two different signs being installed today as part of this project. The first sign is the entrance sign posted at the main entrance to the 100 building parking lot. This reflective sign will help people know where to pull in for parking. It replaces the metal “real estate” type sign we had sitting in the grass at the entrance. The second sign is the large lighted sign being installed above the west double doors facing Thomas Street. The work has begun, and here are a couple pictures. More later this weekend when the project is finished. So, keep looking for Part 2!
