How are our brains adapting to life lived on the internet? Researchers have already discovered changes in how we access and store information (thought to be caused by the fact we don’t need to know massive facts anymore, just know how to access that information). We’ve also learned that using multiple portions of your brain at one time diminishes the resulting work accomplished. (Yes, kids, new high tech brain scans show you don’t study better with music or the TV on. Actually, your productivity goes down.) Here’s a new infograph with some of what’s happening to our brains as we continue massive use of the world wide web.
